Ingest Content Once
Content arrives at a facility in a number of ways and in a variety of formats. The WAM Suite easily ingests new content into the WAM system and automatically moves it to shared folders, video servers, catch servers, NLE systems, and live ingest or playout devices.

Today, when assets are managed in a broadcast center they are manually moved throughout the plant. If an asset is created (for a promo, for example) then the asset is manually retrieved from the library, manually ingested into the production unit, and then manually moved to the broadcast center. From that point on assets are automatically moved throughout the plant or deployed to a facility within the plant using IT technology.

MassStore^® implements archive, restore and partial restore functions providing editors with a fully integrated expandable deep archive for Avid and Final Cut Pro. Editors are able to export finished and/or unfinished projects, or render completed projects to MassStore^® directly from their editing environment. Import saved projects from archive or media originated in your facility such as video servers and cache servers. Editors can easily share content between edit stations, never having to worry about conflicting file formats. By automating the movement and transcoding of content out of production broadcasters can deploy faster to new media outlets, while reducing staffing requirements.
